Desmond Bradley was considered the world’s leading lead violinist for two decades. He was lead violinist for the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra under the directorship of Sir Adrian Boult.
Considered a child prodigy, he went to France to study at the age of 16 in 1949. Prior to his departure, Desmond attended St Bernard’s College and played for many important school functions.
Desmond Bradley passed away in 1992 at the age of 58 leaving a wife and 3 sons. He was indicated into the St Bernard’s College Hall Of Fame in 2009.
