What an incredible success this year’s Art & Technology Exhibition has been! Positive feedback from the schools and visitors to the exhibition, high quality student works and a wonderful celebration of The Arts within our Association.
The exhibition was open across 6 days (Wednesday through Tuesday), with around 2,500 visitors to The Edge and numerous more through The Atrium. One of the great attractions for the visitors was the music in The Edge, with performances from a variety of school ensembles and soloists.
There were over 250 attendees at the Event Launch, with guest speaker, Curtis Reeder, delivering an entertaining and informative presentation of his journey into professional videography and his work within the ACC but also his movement into short films. Curtis has been working closely with the ACC for numerous years and is the person behind all the videos that are published by the ACC. Further information about Curtis can be found on his website: https://www.creedmedia.com.au
It is important to acknowledge the fantastic contribution of many people that helped make this event so successful. Our curator, Maria Tallarida, has overseen all four of our exhibitions now and continues to bring all of the student items together superbly. Her expertise and dedication to task ensures that the work is presented very professionally.
The Arts Committee has worked diligently over the past 18 months, collaborating on the various planning tasks required of an event of this size and scope. Our thanks to the following:

Our event supervisors and support staff also provided wonderful assistance: Paul McKenna, Danny McKenna, Tom McKenna, Rosie Welsford and Steve Kenworthy. The Fed Square staff were also incredibly supportive and helped add a level of professionalism to the event.
Overall, a job well done and a positive experience for all concerned. The “People’s Choice Award” winner will be announced in the coming days. Our next Art & Technology exhibition will be held in 2024 – most likely back at Fed Square!
