Australian Schools Cup Volleyball
Volleyball Australia held their annual schools championship last week in Melbourne, with three ACC schools fielding teams. The Mazenod juggernaut contested numerous finals and had one of their most successful championships ever. They were listed as the 3rd best volleyball boys’ school and the 5th best overall in Australia. St Bernard’s also featured in the medals, winning a silver in U/16 Division 2, whilst Whitefriars struck gold with their only team entered – Open Division 4. Results for all teams are listed below:
Open Honours: 5th
U/17 Honours: Silver medal
U/16 Honours: Silver medal
U/15 Division 1: Silver medal
U/15 Division 3: Gold medal
U/14 Division 1: Gold medal
U/14 Division 2: Silver medal
