Junior Debating & Public Speaking Results
St Bernard’s College hosted the annual debating and public speaking competition for year 7 & 8 ACC students yesterday, with all 12 member schools participating. The quality of the speeches that these young men delivered was outstanding, with the DAV adjudicators commenting on the wonderful preparation and presentation throughout the event. Our thanks to the staff and students of St Bernard’s for their excellent work in arranging the logistics for the day – everything ran very smoothly due to their hard work and dedication.
Congratulations to the students that represented their College for the first time in an ACC event. There may have been a few nerves, but the supportive atmosphere and collaboration amongst the schools is a point of difference with these type of competitions.
