Open Chess Tournament
On Thursday, 12 Member Schools in the Association participated in the Open Chess tournament at Simonds Catholic College, under the facilitation from KidsUnlimited. 120 students were present in competition, with very skilful and well thought chess being played.
We would like to congratulate Mazenod College for taking out the Division 1 title & St Patrick’s College for taking out the Division 2 title. This is Mazenod’s 22nd victory since they started in the competition in 1999. For St Patrick’s, this is the first ACC Chess title for St Patrick’s.
A big thanks to everyone involved and to Kids Unlimited for running the event.
