The Term 1 Grand Finals were held yesterday afternoon at various venues around Melbourne. There were a total of six premierships up for grabs.
Mazenod and Whitefriars College took to the tennis courts at Melbourne Park. In what was a close finish, Whitefriars 7-80 def Mazenod 5-69, to secure the Tennis premiership.
Mazenod College defeated Whitefriars in the A grand final and Salesian in the B’s to take home two premierships at the State Volleyball Centre in Dandenong.
St Bernard’s took home the coveted 35 Over Cricket premiership with a last over victory against De La Salle College. The final score was St Bernard’s 10/108 def De La Salle 10/105.
In the T20 Cricket Division 1 final Parade College 1/165 def St Joseph’s Ferntree Gully 10/51 to secure the Premiership. In the T20 Cricket Division 2 final St Mary’s College 6/93 def St Bede’s 10/89 to secure their first premiership as St Mary’s in the ACC.
